Ash Fodar Managing Director Global Corporate Investment Banking Bank of America
|
Ash is currently a Managing Director in the Rates & Currencies Solutions group at Bank of America. He covers GCM clients in the Midwest and GCIB clients for their Rates & FX hedging needs. Ash also provides risk management advice to clients relying on his substantial experience over the last 27 years in banking.
Prior to this, Ash was the Head of Client & Private Solutions at ANZ covering clients in AsiaPAC out of Hong Kong & Singapore. Before that, he was Head of Rates & FX (Europe & Americas)/Head of G4 rates (Asia). Prior to arriving at ANZ in late 2013, Ash was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan in the Interest Rates & FX Risk Management Group. His team covered clients in the Autos, Aerospace & Defense, Diversified Industrials, TMT and Captive Finance space providing them with advice on hedging Interest Rates and FX exposure, as well as providing them with execution services. Ash spent a year leading the FIG team as well. Ash joined J.P. Morgan in 2008 after spending 12 years at Citigroup in the Corporate Derivatives business.
Ash graduated in 1995 from Columbia Business School with an M.B.A. and has an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India.

Damla Gerhart Managing Director Avison Young
|
Damla Gerhart is a Principal and the Managing Director of Avison Young’s Chicago and Rosemont offices. She also serves on the U.S. Executive Committee and provides leadership for the Central Region. Her role entails providing strategic direction to teams of real estate professionals who serve a variety of clients to provide brokerage services across Retail/Office/Industrial/Hospitality sectors and expertise across Capital Markets, Investment Sales, Real Estate Development, Construction Project Management and Commercial Property Management services. She also leads Chicago's growth efforts including talent development, recruitment and strategic acquisitions.
Damla has 17+ years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to Avison Young, she served as Senior Managing Director at CBRE where she led the brokerage Occupier teams for the downtown and suburban offices. Prior to that role, she was the Americas Lead for the Workplace Strategy & Design advisory business where she focused on business development, team expansion, revenue growth and thought leadership. Before CBRE, she was a Vice President at JLL in their national Strategic Consulting group. She worked closely with global clients to develop and implement innovative workplace and change management solutions. Earlier in her career, she had stints as an auditor at EY and an HR generalist at Kimberly-Clark Corp.
Damla is actively involved in civic organizations including Leadership Greater Chicago and the International Women's Forum. She is involved in the Chicago chapters of various industry groups including: CoreNet Global, National Association of Industrial & Office Professionals (NAIOP), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association (COLBA) and Real Estate Finance Forum (REFF). She is a Board Member for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, an Advisory Board Member for Roosevelt University Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate and an Advisory Board Member for the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Damla is also a member of The Executives’ Club of Chicago and was recognized in 2020 as GlobeSt Real Estate Forum's Women of Influence.

Jessica Paradis Vice President & Relationship Manager Global Commercial Banking Group Bank of America

Jessica is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Global Commercial Banking group at Bank of America, based in Chicago.
In her role, Jessica is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of middle market client relationships. She leads and works alongside a team of product specialists who strategize and develop customized solutions across the bank’s wide array of services to help clients grow and achieve their strategic goals. Portfolio clients operate across of variety of industries and range from family-owned businesses to public companies.
Previously, Jessica served as a Commercial Associate in Chicago where she worked with Relationship Managers to deliver thoughtful advice to clients. Jessica joined Bank of America as a Financial Analyst in 2016.
Jessica graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Finance. She currently resides in Chicago’s Lakeview East neighborhood with her partner Josh. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling

David Flick Managing Director & Sr Investment Strategist Bank of America Private Bank

David Flick is Managing Director and Senior Investment Strategist at Bank of America Private Bank. In this role, he is responsible for advancing Private Bank investments value proposition within the Central North and Central South divisions. This includes partnering with our high net worth clients, advisors and portfolio managers in delivering on our broad investment platform and services across Bank of America. He aligns macroeconomic, thematic and portfolio strategy levels with top of the house thinking.
Prior to joining Bank of America, David led the Midwest Interest Rate Product Sales Team at J.P. Morgan where he was responsible for all rates products sold to financial institutions throughout the Midwest, specializing in the structuring of complex derivative transactions to efficiently hedge client’s market risk. In addition to this, David developed and communicated strong knowledge of the fixed income, equity, commodity, foreign exchange and hedge fund markets to financial institution clients. Previously,
David worked in a similar capacity at Goldman Sachs. David earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University and his Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
