Jonathan R. Caforio
Principal, Sustainability Leader, Consulting
RSM US LLP

Mr. Caforio is an accomplished ambassador between business, technology and vendor organizations; successfully identifying and translating business requirements into valuable investments. His broad experience includes leadership, strategy, sustainability, M&A, carve-outs, operations due diligence, technology, and outsourcing, working closely with management teams on their business and technology delivery objectives.

As a member of the strategy and management consulting leadership team, Mr. Caforio is the Sustainability Practice Leader for Consulting. He responsible for growing RSM’s sustainability and ESG related services to meet our client’s needs across the comprehensive and seamless cycle of strategy, assessment, planning, implementation, supply chain redesign, data analysis, climate risk modeling, and voluntary/required reporting, integrated with sustainability due diligence, technology implementations, internal audit, tax credits & incentives and limited/reasonable assurance across the global reporting and regulatory environment.

Prior to this role, he led the Strategy Practice, along with program, project and change management, mergers and acquisitions, quality engineering, and global compliance and reporting services (GCRS).

In his interim leadership appointments, Mr. Caforio has served in CIO and Enterprise Architecture positions for financial services, consumer products, manufacturing and retail companies with domestic and global operations.

Within financial services, his experience spans banking, payments, insurance and capital markets, including technology consulting account leadership for a portfolio of ten insurance clients while a Partner with Accenture.

Joyce Reto
Assurance Partner, Atlanta Office Leader 
RSM US LLP

Joyce Reto is an assurance partner and Atlanta office leader for RSM US LLP, with over 30 years of experience advising consumer product companies, retailers, and manufacturers, primarily in the private equity space. She has held leadership roles across RSM’s U.S. offices, including Des Moines, Charlotte, and Atlanta, and served on the RSM board of directors from 2017 to 2021. During her board tenure, she chaired the strategy and innovation committee and contributed to finance, M&A, and partner matters.

Joyce’s extensive leadership includes experience as CFO of a multibillion-dollar grocery chain and earlier roles at a Big Four accounting firm, giving her deep insight into client challenges in treasury, risk, and operations. As Atlanta’s managing partner, she is committed to fostering culture, diversity, and talent development, actively engaging with RSM’s employee network groups and community initiatives.

She is a certified public accountant and a board member of the East Lake Foundation. Joyce holds a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from St. Cloud State University.
