Susan Sandlund, PhD Managing Director, Practice Leader Pearl Meyer

Dr. Susan Sandlund is a managing director at Pearl Meyer and leads the firm's leadership consulting practice. For more than 30 years, Susan has worked with boards, CEOs, and multiple levels of management on planned organizational changes at public and private companies and not-for-profit entities across numerous industries. As an organization psychologist, her work includes initiating and leading large-scale change to drive new business strategies, culture change, clarifying governance and decision-making, board and executive team effectiveness and coaching, organization design, executive assessment and development, and CEO succession planning processes.
Prior to joining Pearl Meyer, Susan was co-founder and partner of Veritas Partners, a leadership development and organization change consulting firm. Prior to launching Veritas, Susan was a partner with Oliver Wyman, formerly known as Mercer Delta Consulting (MDC) Group, working with CEOs and c-suite leaders on business transformation. She also served on the MDC board of directors. Prior to Mercer-Delta, Susan was a senior consultant with the Hay Group where she led leadership development initiatives for a wide array of clients. She served five years as an adjunct full professor at Columbia University and served on the board of trustees of Bon Secours Health System, Inc. (BSHSI) for 10 years, chairing the compensation and human resources committees. She is currently a director and the compensation committee chair for Peckham Industries.

Terry Jimenez Chairman, Board of Directors Turtle Beach

Terry Jimenez is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors at Turtle Beach Corporation (NASDAQ: HEAR). Terry is also an adjunct professor with Northern Illinois University teaching in MBA with Northern Illinois University teaching in MBA Programs in Illinois and Bogota, Colombia. Most recently, Terry has provided financial, operational, strategy, and M&A consulting to G/O Media (backed by PE Great Hill Partners) and Salad & Go (fast growing fast casual chain).
Previously, Terry served as Chief Executive Officer, President and member of the Board of Directors at Tribune Publishing Company, a diversified media company with $1 billion in annual revenue. Prior to Tribune, Terry was a Partner within IBM’s Global Business Services division and held various accounting, financial, and strategy positions with McDonald’s Corporation.
Terry holds a BS in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from the J.L Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He has also attended one-week programs at the London Business School and the Thayer Leadership Program at West Point.

Sally Washlow
|
Sally is a practice lead for LHH's International Center for Executive Options. Additionally, she leverages her significant experience by advising executives on private equity and board service.
Sally currently serves on the boards of public and private companies. Within these board roles, she is Board Chair, Chair of the Compensation Committee and member of the Audit Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee.
Sally is the prior President of the Private Directors Association (Chicago Chapter), a member of Women Corporate Directors, the National Association of Corporate Directors and is on the Board of Industry Leaders for the Consumer Technology Association.
Previously, Sally was Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of Cedar Electronics, formerly Cobra Electronics, a Nasdaq-listed company and developer of consumer and automotive electronics. As CEO, Sally led the integration of the Cobra and Escort electronics businesses, managing the company through the strategic transaction and transitioning it from public to PE ownership.
In prior roles, Sally was with Motorola and LG Electronics, involved in various roles within product development, manufacturing, supply chain, business development, and sales and marketing.
Sally holds an MBA from DePaul University in Marketing and a BA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.

Ed Steinhoff is a managing director and consulting team leader at Pearl Meyer. In his management role, he oversees a team of senior compensation consultants in the execution of the firm’s growth strategy and in the development of consultants at various stages in their careers. With more than 25 years’ experience in executive compensation, Ed works with the boards of directors and senior management teams of public and private companies, ranging from small and middle-market firms to multibillion-dollar corporations, to design pay programs that drive business performance and value creation, secure high-performing executive talent, and meet both regulatory standards and stakeholder expectations. Ed leads client engagements across many industries, with a focus on insurance, banking, manufacturing, and construction and engineering organizations. Prior to joining Pearl Meyer, Ed led the Michigan market compensation business at Mercer. He also has corporate compensation experience with Amoco Corporation in Chicago. Ed received a bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Georgetown University and a master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He speaks regularly on compensation issues and is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and WorldatWork.
