Prickel Named PDA Board Chair; Kearney Elected Vice Chair

Silvia Prickel has been elected Chair of the PDA Board of Directors during the Board’s first meeting of 2025, held on Thursday. Susan Kearney was also elected to serve as the Board’s Vice Chair.

“I am deeply honored to take on the role of PDA Board Chair,” Prickel stated following her election. “This opportunity is both humbling and exciting, and I am truly grateful for the trust placed in me to lead our Board.”

Prickel also took a moment to recognize her predecessor, Elaine Eisenman, for her outstanding service.

“I extend my heartfelt thanks to Elaine Eisenman for her exemplary leadership. Her dedication has provided us with a strong foundation to build upon,” she said.

Debra McGuire, FASAE, MBA, IOM, CAE, will continue her role as President & CEO of PDA, while Bruce Goldstein and Elaine Vorberg were reappointed as Treasurer and Secretary, respectively.

“As Chair, my primary focus will remain on supporting the organization’s mission,” Prickel emphasized. “I am committed to fostering collaboration, maintaining transparency, and ensuring we deliver meaningful value to our stakeholders and members. Together, I am confident we can overcome challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and drive continued growth and success for PDA.”
