The Private Directors Association (PDA) will bring its national governance community to Atlanta this fall for PRISM 2026, the organization’s flagship conference focused on advancing private company board leadership and governance excellence.

Scheduled for October 5–7, 2026, PRISM 2026 will take place at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead and is expected to convene directors, executives, owners, investors, and governance professionals from across the country for three days of education, networking, and strategic discussion.

Registration for the event will open soon.

PRISM has become one of PDA’s signature national gatherings, known for delivering practical governance insight tailored specifically to the needs of private company boards. The conference focuses on real-world application, bringing together experienced leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping today’s boardrooms.

Conference programming will explore topics such as board effectiveness, risk oversight, strategic decision-making, leadership, succession planning, and emerging governance trends. Organizers say attendees can also expect interactive discussions, peer-to-peer learning opportunities, and sessions designed to provide actionable takeaways that can be implemented immediately within their organizations.

In addition to educational content, PRISM is recognized for fostering meaningful professional relationships among directors and executives navigating increasingly complex business environments. The event’s collaborative format encourages candid conversation and cross-industry exchange among governance leaders.

Atlanta was selected as the host city for PRISM 2026 because of its accessibility, business community, and growing reputation as a hub for innovation and leadership. The conference venue, the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead, will serve as the central gathering point for attendees throughout the three-day event.

Information agenda details, featured speakers, and registration announcements are days away from being released.

As anticipation builds for the 2026 conference, organizers encourage members and governance professionals to reserve the dates and begin planning to attend what is expected to be one of PDA’s most impactful governance events of the year.
