Lucas Named President of PDA Colorado Chapter
Kimberly Lucas has taken over as President of the Colorado Chapter, succeeding founding President Cody Teets, who will continue serving the chapter as Immediate Past President. Corey Sisler has stepped into the Vice President role, completing the Chapter's transition to a three-deep leadership model.
Lucas, a founding member of the Colorado Chapter, most recently served as the Chapter’s Vice President.
"As a founding member of the Colorado Chapter it's been an honor to watch Cody form, build, nurture and grow a high performing team in support of our members," Lucas said. "I'm excited to take the hand-off from Cody and continue our success to new levels!"
Lucas inherits a strong foundation, thanks largely to the vision and dedication of Cody Teets.
"As founding President of the Colorado Chapter, I am honored to work with such an amazing team of leaders," Teets said. "Together we have developed strong programs and sponsorships, allowing us to grow annual membership. Kimberly, as Vice President has been instrumental in fine-tuning our communication and processes for success."
PDA President & CEO Debra McGuire praised the transition and the Chapter's organizational evolution.
"Kimberly's transition to President of our Colorado Chapter exemplifies the kind of thoughtful succession planning that strengthens our entire network," McGuire said. "Having witnessed her dedication as both a founding member and Vice President, I'm confident she'll bring fresh energy while honoring the exceptional foundation Cody has built. What's particularly exciting is seeing Colorado embrace our three-deep leadership model—with Kimberly as President, a Vice President to support her vision, and Cody continuing as Immediate Past President. This structure ensures continuity of institutional knowledge while fostering leadership development at every level."
