Himiob is New PDA Houston Chapter President
The Private Directors Association (PDA) is pleased to announce that Rodrigo Himiob has been named the new President of the PDA Houston Chapter.

Himiob succeeds Jennifer Petree, whose leadership helped strengthen the Chapter's engagement and commitment to governance best practices across the Houston market.
“It has been a real honor serving my fellow PDA members by leading the Houston Chapter,” Petree said. “The commitment to governance best practices is alive and well in Houston. I proudly pass the torch to Rodrigo who is a dedicated board director, experienced advisor and supportive colleague.”

A member of a third-generation family business with operations in the Caribbean and Venezuela, Himiob brings a leadership perspective shaped by both ownership and operational experience. After earning an M.S. in Engineering and a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University (2007), he built his career in Houston across family enterprises and engineering organizations. His experience includes roles with Deepwater Corrosion Services, Mustang Engineering, and serving as Vice President of Operations & COO at Houston Anodes International, where he helped expand production output, improve efficiency, and increase client satisfaction. He later joined TRC Solutions, focusing on team development and career-pathing.
Committed to continuous improvement as a leader and steward of the family enterprise, Himiob pursued an Executive MBA in Family Business at Kennesaw State University. He is based in Houston, Texas, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
