Francia is New PDA South Florida Chapter President

Mary Francia is stepping into the role of South Florida Chapter President, following the completion of Cordearo Dadson's term.

 

Francia brings over 25 years of global leadership experience to the position, with specialized expertise in governance, strategy, sustainability, and human capital. Her distinguished career has focused on empowering boards to effectively navigate market dynamics while ensuring organizational resilience, driving innovation, and implementing strategic risk management.

 

“I’m honored to step into the role of President of the Private Directors Association South Florida Chapter,” Francia said. “I look forward to bringing my experience in governance, board leadership, and non-profit organizations—to support PDA’s mission of advancing private company board excellence. South Florida is a vibrant and growing hub, and I’m excited to collaborate with our exceptional members to deepen our impact, foster learning, and build a strong community of directors.”

 

Francia's active involvement in corporate governance extends across multiple organizations. She currently serves in several prestigious positions, including Advisory Board Member, Investasure; Managing Partner, Equistas Tech (Advisors); Board of Advisors Member, Competent Boards; Ambassador Governance Americas, INSEAD; and Chief Executive Officer, SEROWIRES.

 

As the Chapter enters this new phase, the South Florida leadership team is actively seeking to fill the Vice President position, creating an opportunity for members to step into a key leadership role within the organization.
