Exploratory Effort to Assess a PDA Private‑Company Director Certification Pathway

In the months ahead, PDA will begin identifying Subject Matter Experts in private‑company board governance to serve on a 2027 Task Force focused on exploring a potential certification pathway for private‑company directors. This group will help shape the future of PDA education and ensure any proposed credential reflects the highest standards of governance excellence. 

We will be seeking individuals who bring:

• Deep experience in private‑company board governance

• Backgrounds in higher education, credentialing, or certification program design

• A commitment to advancing director professionalism and strengthening governance practices
