Dave Stainback is PwC’s U.S. Crisis leader, Co-chair of the Global Centre for Crisis & Resilience, and a Principal in Cyber, Data & Tech Risk practice. He has extensive experience leading complex crisis responses and helping companies build resilience programs across industries like financial services, healthcare, insurance, retail, aerospace, IT, and utilities. Dave advises Fortune 500 clients and private companies on crises including cyber attacks, regulatory investigations, compliance failures, and reputational issues, often managing large teams of 200+ members. He also designs and enhances enterprise resilience strategies, including response plans and tabletop exercises.

John Stakel is a seasoned global finance and operating executive with over 30 years of experience.  He joined Imagine Design in March 2026 as President. Prior to Imagine, he spent 18 years with Westrock Company and played a pivotal role in its growth, helping increase revenue from $2 billion to more than $18 billion.  Following their merger with Smurfit Kappa, Smurfit Westrock emerged as a $30 billion global packaging company, and he led the merger integration of the two companies. He has also earned four Institutional Investor All-American awards. Over his 30-year career, John has instituted processes to help companies prepare for crises and has guided the response to and recovery from multiple crises and disruptions. John currently provides complex financial, operational, restructuring, and turn-around guidance to companies through full-time, interim and contractor roles.
