Overview 

On March 5, 2026, the Private Directors Association will host an interactive Cybersecurity Incident Response Virutal Event, led by former U.S. Cyber Czar Richard Clarke and Good Harbor Security Risk Management. This PDA National Series of Distinction event puts participants in the role of a board member as a cyber incident unfolds (for more details, please click here).

The PDA Cincinnati Chapter invites you to join us in person, for a watch party followed by an open conversation surrounding cybersecurity and incident response with the Chief Information Security Officer of Encore Technologies, Mike Schuetter. Schuetter, who has a background in cybersecurity and having responded to several incidents over the years, will answer our guests questions and expand on the topics covered in the virtual program.

Mike Schuetter Chief Information Security Officer Encore Technologies

Mike Schuetter is the Chief Information Security Officer at Encore Technologies, a data center company, where he oversees its governance, risk and compliance program.  Prior to Encore, Mike Schuetter built and managed several successful technical and organizational security assessment practices providing high impact services to its customers. Additionally, Mike Schuetter designed, built, and recruited staff for several security operations centers for a fortune 500 company and large defense contractor as it pivoted to focus its efforts on thwarting advanced persistent threats.

Mike continues to focus his energy on the ever changing threat landscape caused by emerging technologies like quantum computing and AI while gauging the positive and sometimes negative impacts to business.  Mike can frequently be found speaking on such topics at regional and national conferences as well as working with the next generation in order to help maintain a healthy pipeline of talent to meet the rising demands.
