Panelists
Barbara M. Baumann is President and Founder of Cross Creek Energy Corporation, a Denver-based energy investment and advisory firm specializing in oil, gas, and related energy sectors. With more than 40 years of experience in energy operations, finance, and governance, she has held senior leadership and board roles across public, private, and nonprofit organizations.
Barbara currently serves on the boards of Devon Energy Corporation and National Fuel Gas Company, and she recently completed her tenure as Chair of the Board of Devon Energy. She is also Chair of the Independent Board of Trustees of the Putnam Mutual Funds. In addition, Barbara serves as a Senior Advisor to the private equity firm First Reserve and sits on the board of its upstream energy company, IOG Resources.
Her earlier career includes 18 years with Amoco Corporation (now BP), where she led the San Juan Basin business unit and held a range of senior finance and operational positions, followed by service as Executive Vice President at Associated Energy Managers.
An active leader in governance and director education, Barbara is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow and has been recognized for her commitment to advancing excellence in board governance. She earned a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Teresa Van De Bogart retired from Molson Coors Brewing Company as their Global VP, IT Project Delivery in 2019, after 38 years with a distinguished career in accounting, finance, procurement and IT. She spent the first half of her career in finance and accounting including responsibility for internal, external and BOD reporting, strategic planning and forecasting and finance and accounting for manufacturing operations, commercial, as well as G&A functions. Her IT roles have included setting up and leading the Global IT PMO as well as leadership and delivery of large global SAP systems and other IT technologies. She developed a company wide methodology and training for improving project execution across all company functions globally.
She also has been active with Boards for the last 20 years including the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Women’s Leadership Foundation where she was Board Chair at each. Currently, she is an NACD Fellow, holds an NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) director certification as well as a CERT certificate in Cyber Oversight from Carnegie Mellon. She currently sits on the board of ReMax Holdings, Craig Hospital Foundation, and the Mile High United Way and previously served on the Sunflower Bank Board for 6 years and chaired the risk committee. Her board service includes committee membership on audit, risk, compensation and nominating and governance committees.
Teresa graduated from Auburn University with a degree in accounting and enjoys horseback riding, golfing, hiking, sports, theatre and spending time with her family.
Walker Fleming is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Fortune 500 companies across aerospace, telecommunications, and energy industries. As the
founder and former CEO of AxxessConnect, LLC, a telecommunications infrastructure and services company, Walker has demonstrated visionary leadership and a commitment to innovation. Throughout his career, Walker has held senior management roles at Dynegy, Logix Communications, Intelligent Systems, US West Communications, Tele-TV, and
Lockheed Martin. His expertise spans general management, strategic planning, sales and marketing, network operations, auditing, finance, project management, and new product development. He has contributed his skills across diverse sectors, including voice and data networks, cable television, energy management, software development, and government contracting. Walker’s leadership extends beyond corporate roles, as he has served as the board chairman and currently chairs the risk committee for Bellco Credit Union, an $8 billion financial institution. He is also an active member of the Boy Scouts Trustee Board and the Denver Police Foundation Board, showcasing his dedication to community involvement and organizational governance

He founded Roeder Consulting in 2001 to support this mission. Before that, he was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he refined his approach.
