Mary Francia

Mary Francia is a global executive, board advisor, and governance strategist with more than 25 years of leadership experience across technology, telecommunications, industrial, healthcare, and consumer sectors. She has worked closely with CEOs, executive teams, and boards on strategy, transformation, innovation, governance, and organizational leadership across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

Her career includes leadership roles with organizations including Nokia, Philips, Flex, Air Liquide, and Time Warner Cable, as well as work with growth-stage and innovation-driven companies navigating transformation and scale.

Mary has served on corporate, advisory, nonprofit, and industry boards since the early stages of her career and currently serves as Americas Ambassador for the INSEAD Directors Network. She also serves on advisory boards including Competent Boards and Investature.

Her work focuses on board effectiveness, governance under uncertainty, AI and decision oversight, sustainability governance, and the intersection of strategy, risk, technology, and long-term value creation. Mary holds the INSEAD International Directors Programme Certification (IDP-C) and the Global Competent Boards Designation (GCB.D).
