Debra McGuire, FASAE, MBA, IOM, CAE is President & CEO of the Private Directors Association, the only association exclusively focused on improving private companies’ growth and sustainability through effective board governance.

Debra earned an MBA from Cornerstone University and BA from Michigan State University. She completed the Institute of Organizational Management at the University of Notre Dame and achieved the Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives, where she was awarded Fellow distinction.

Debra served as a Director on the Medical Advantage Group Advisory Board and on the Michigan Primary Care Consortium Board. In 2019, Debra was appointed to the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition Board and Congressional Fire Services Institute National Advisory Committee. In 2023, Debra completed a 3-year term on the Certification Board for the International Association for Strategy Professionals.
